Alpin Bob Merano 2000 (30 minutes from Tirolo)
The Alpin Bob is a thrilling rail toboggan ride starting in Piffing, covering a distance of 1.1 km. The track runs up to 12 metres above the forest floor, ensuring an adrenaline rush like no other. The Alpin Bob is easy to reach with the Falzeben cable car or the Merano 2000 cable car. After the exciting descent, you can take a souvenir photo.
Rafting in Val Passiria (approx. 30 minutes from Tirolo)

Familienalm Taser (30 minutes from Tirolo)
Take the Taser cable car up to Monte Scena, where the Familienalm sits at 1,400 metres above sea level. Here, visitors can enjoy a small mountain zoo with ponies, dwarf goats, rabbits, and ducks - a favourite with the children. A large playground with slides, a sandbox, and climbing equipment guarantees fun and adventure for the little ones. For young explorers, there’s a high ropes course just above the Alm. It’s also the perfect starting point for easy hikes, allowing the whole family to take in the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Gufyland - Birds of prey park (15 minutes from Tirolo)
Above Castel Tirolo lies the Gufyland birds of prey rehabilitation centre. Twice daily (except Mondays), visitors can witness spectacular flight shows featuring eagles, vultures, falcons, and owls up close. Rainguthof animal park (45 minutes from Tirolo)
The Rainguthof in Gfrill, near Passo Palade, is a charming mountain farm set at around 1,100 metres above sea level. Many animals live on the farm in species-appropriate enclosures, including fallow deer, emus, donkeys, Galloway cattle, prairie dogs and even water turtles. It is particularly exciting for children, as many animals can be stroked and there are often new arrivals to see. After exploring the park, families can relax at the farmhouse’s Jausenstation and take in the beautiful views.
ArcheoPark Val Senales (45 minutes from Tirolo)
At ArcheoPark Val Senales, visitors can step into the world of Ötzi. The park features reconstructed Stone Age huts, where children can see how Ötzi lived over 5,000 years ago. A fascinating journey into prehistory, offering an engaging insight into early human life.
